Little River, S.C. — A Memorial Day weekend party turned violent Sunday night when gunfire erupted on a docked charter boat in Little River, South Carolina, leaving 10 people with gunshot wounds and an additional individual injured during the incident.

According to the Horry County Police Department, the violence stemmed from an altercation during a private gathering on the Hurricane II, a charter boat operated by the Little River Fishing Fleet. Emergency responders transported 11 individuals to local hospitals, with some victims in critical but stable condition. Authorities noted that additional victims might have sought medical attention independently.
