Bianca Castro, widely known by her stage name Jiggly Caliente, has experienced a significant health setback resulting in the amputation of most of her right leg due to a severe infection. The 44-year-old performer, celebrated for her appearances on "RuPaul's Drag Race" Season 4 and as a judge on "Drag Race Philippines," is now focusing on an extensive recovery process.

In a statement shared on April 24, 2025, via Jiggly's social media channels, her family disclosed that she had been hospitalized over the past month due to a serious infection, leading to the surgical removal of a substantial portion of her right leg. As a result, Jiggly will not be participating in the upcoming season of "Drag Race Philippines" and will be stepping back from all public engagements for the foreseeable future.

The family emphasized the need for privacy during this challenging time and encouraged fans to send messages of support through Jiggly's social media platforms. They expressed deep gratitude for the outpouring of love, strength, and prayers from the community.

Jiggly Caliente rose to prominence in 2012 as a contestant on Season 4 of "RuPaul's Drag Race," where her charisma and memorable performances earned her a dedicated fan base. She later returned to the franchise as a contestant on "RuPaul's Drag Race All Stars" Season 6 in 2021.
